Australian Copyright Council's #ImagesCreate Prize
We are inviting Australian artists, illustrators, cartoonists & photographers to submit a visual essay on the theme of 'CELEBRATING CREATIVE AUSTRALIA!'

The best photo essay will be featured on our website and will receive $1000 cash prize. Images will be shown with attribution to the artist.

A society's culture flourishes when its creators are secure in their right to benefit from their creative work. In Australia copyright is free and automatic, its protection allows Australian creatives to earn a living through their art.

We are looking for images that help us to express the values of copyright visually. Successful submissions will:
- Show the diversity of Australia's unique creative culture
- Be visually exciting, positive, light and bright!
- Express the value of the Arts in Australia
- Promote enthusiasm towards creative activity
- Represent at least 2 different art forms (eg. design, writing, visual arts, performance, tattoos, street art, music)
Each essay must comprise of 4-5 images 

Entries must be submitted to  by Friday, 19th August 2016.  

Terms and Conditions: 

  1. Entries must be the original work of the entrant.
  2. Each entry must comprise 4-5 images representing at least 2 different art forms (to be supplied as high resolution JPEG files).
  3. The entries will be judged by a panel appointed by the Board of the Australian Copyright Council. The Board may elect not to award the prize if no entry is of a sufficient standard.
  4. The prize will be $1000.
  5. The winning images will be featured on the Australian Copyright Council website, social media & featured in our newsletter.
  6. Entrants shall retain copyright in their images. Entrants shall grant the Australian Copyright Council the right to reproduce and communicate the images for judging purposes. The winning entrant shall grant the Australian Copyright Council a non-exclusive licence to reproduce and communicate the images comprised in the submission in all formats.
  7. Entries must be received by 5pm, 19th August, 2016.
