An architectural firm has won its appeal in a case relating to whether or not the purchaser of a property acquired a licence to use architectural plans. The decision is a reminder that every architectural licence case needs to be determined on its own particular facts, and while generally a licence to use plans might “run with” a block of land, this is not always the case.
