IP Australia funds development of IP competencies for VET sector

by admin last modified 2008-07-29 12:32

IP Australia, the Australian government agency responsible for patent, trade marks and design registration, has funded the development of units of competency in intellectual property for use in the Vocational Educational Training (VET) sector. The units are being developed through Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA) and Precision Consulting. These organisations are seeking feedback on seven draft units by 15 August 2008.

This project covers the development of units of competency, focussing on outcomes, rather the development of curriculum material to meet those outcomes.
