This book gives practical guidance on copyright and moral rights for museums, galleries and archives. Issues covered include  good practice to ensure copyright compliance, management of licences for digital material, and situations where permission or moral rights consent may be needed.

Situations addressed include organising and setting up exhibitions, digitising the collection and making it available online on websites,  risk management when allowing members of the public to access and reproduce material, filming in the museum or gallery, and merchandising items that reproduce items from the collection. Special issues concerning Indigenous material are addressed.
