'Special case exception: education, libraries, collections': out now!

This is a practical guide for educators, libraries, galleries, museums and people with a disability to the new 'special case' ('flexible dealing') exception introduced in December 2006 – section 200AB. It gives some background to the new exception, but principally focuses on how to apply the exception in practice. The guide include common questions and scenarios, such as converting videos to DVD. The guide was written in consultation with key peak organisations, including Copyright Advisory Group of the Ministerial Council on Education, Employment and Youth Affairs (CAG), Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA), Australian Libraries Copyright Committee (ALCC) and National Film & Sound Archive (NFSA).

Price: $40 (including GST and delivery) for delivery in Australia; $51 for delivery overseas.
