Australian Copyright Council Research Projects
People with a print disability
In 2005, with funding from Copyright Agency Limited, we conducted a research project on copyright issues for people with a print disability. The project resulted in practical guidelines for people with a print disability, organisations assisting them, and copyright owners. It also resulted in a licence from publishers enabling people with a print disability to engage in activities not covered by special exceptions in the Copyright Act, and in a sample agreement for publishers who want to license print disability organisations.
