Who this training is for

For people working in educational institutions who have some understanding of copyright principles – for example they have attended Educational insitutions: Introduction to Copyright or Copyright Essentials or have read our Copyright Essentials book.

What's covered in the session

NEW COURSE
This is a hands-on workshop on how to manage copyright issues for new technologies in education. It is for people with a solid grasp of the special copyright provisions for education covered in the sessions above. We’ll look at technologies such as electronic whiteboards, content management systems such as ClickView, and learning management systems such as Moodle. We’ll also look at technological protection measures. We will work through some real-life scenarios, discussing the copyright issues and working out some practical approaches to dealing with them.
