This training is for photographers and graphic designers, and for students of photography or graphic design. It is suitable for people with no previous knowledge of copyright.

Copyright law enables photographers and graphic designers to protect their work and make a living from it. This 2-hour seminar explains how to avoid common pitfalls and get the most out of copyright law. Topics include:

• who owns copyright
• what clients can do with your work
• when clients don’t pay
• putting work on websites
• taking photographs in public places
• logos: some things to think about
• responsibility for copyright, model and location releases
