Who this training is for

For people working in educational institutions who have some understanding of copyright principles – for example they have attended Educational insitutions: Introduction to Copyright or Copyright Essentials or have read our Copyright Essentials book.

What's covered in the session

NEW EXPANDED SESSION
We’ve made this popular session longer so we can cover the new developments in internet use and copyright law in detail and allow more time for discussion. Topics include:
  • copying books, journals and other textual material
  • copying print music under the Copyright Act
  • copying from the internet
  • online and email delivery of copies
  • when you can rely on the “flexible dealing” provision
