On 8 May 2008, a Full Court of the Federal Court allowed an appeal by Nine Network Australia in a case concerning IceTV’s online TV guides. The Full Court unanimously held that IceTV had appropriated the labour and skill used to create Nine’s compilations by indirectly copying a substantial part of them.
