Nine Network Australia v IceTV (27 June 2008)

by admin last modified 2008-08-26 11:07

On 27 June 2008, following the decision by the Full Federal Court on 8 May 2008, Bennett J declared that IceTV Pty Ltd infringed Nine's copyright in program schedules, and made a number of orders.

The orders restrain IceTV Pty Ltd from reproducing, communicating or authorising use of all or a substantial part of the Nine Weekly Program Schedules and Nine Program Time and Title Information. IceTV Pty Ltd was required to delete the Nine Time and Title Information, but not the program and episode titles, from its databases.

IceTV has applied for leave to appeal the Full Court's decision to the High Court.
