Copyright Basics for Legal Practitioners
This live-streamed, basics of copyright session is aimed at practitioners who are new to copyright and need an introduction to the fundamental concepts. We will cover: Some important sections of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) What is protected by copyright? What isn’t. Duration of copyright Exceptions to copyright Infringement Moral Rights? Law reform in brief. Facilitated by Australian Copyright Council CEO, Eileen Camilleri and delivered by ACC lawyers Frances Coyne and Daniel Anstey, this session will give you a broad understanding of copyright today. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and receive a copy of the Q & A after the session.
